Maria Menounos dijo que le diagnosticaron un tumor cerebral benigno y anunció su renuncia de E! News.
Menounos dijo a la revista People que el mes pasado se sometió a una cirugía en la que le extirparon un tumor del tamaño de una pelota de golf que le descubrieron en febrero.
La presentadora indicó que el 99,9% del tumor fue removido durante el procedimiento de siete horas el 8 de junio y dijo que hay una pequeña probabilidad de que regrese.
E! dijo el lunes que Menounos deja la cadena luego de tres años. Agregó que cree que Menounos enfrentará su problema de salud “con la misma dedicación fiera por la que es conocida”.
La presentadora de 39 años dijo que todavía tiene el rostro adormecido por la operación pero que debería volver pronto a la normalidad.
