El próximo domingo 25 de abril, se celebrará en Los Ángeles, California, otra entrega de los premios Oscar de la Academia de las ciencias y las artes cinematográficas de Hollywood. En este año tan extraño en el que no hubo festivales presenciales, en el que las salas han estado cerradas y en donde muy pocos han tenido la entereza mental para ver el azotado cine dramático estadounidense, la selección de los Oscar está nutrida por apuestas seguras. Aquí tenemos la típica selección de películas premiadas en Venecia, las cintas para calmar las culpas raciales del liberalismo blanco de la Academia y un intento precario de balance entre hombres y mujeres en los premios más importantes.
En cualquier caso, como todos los años, los Oscares no son nada más previsibles por sus nominaciones. Después de ver la gran mayoría de las películas nominadas y confrontando nuestras predicciones con los momios de las casas de apuesta, podemos darles un estimado, bastante seguro, de quién ganará en cada una de las categorías. Así que, dejando de lado nuestras favoritas, les proponemos una selección de ganadoras para que alisten las quinielas y le roben la quincena a sus conocidos.
